Provider Exchange Network Integrates with OptionSoft F&I Menu
Provider Exchange Network, a division of Open Dealer Exchange, announced Wednesday that it has agreed to integrate with the OptionSoft Technologies F&I Menu.
Officials believe this integration will allow OptionSoft to better serve its thousands of dealers via PEN’s streamlined electronic rating, forms and contract booking connection.
The company reiterated that PEN is designed to be an electronic data exchange that can streamline the sales process by integrating the F&I product provider with the dealer’s point-of-sale system, whether through a menu or directly with the dealership management system desking software.
PEN contends this unique integration approach can eliminate the need for separate applications to enable full electronic contracting for aftermarket products. Functions include electronic ratings, forms preparation and contract booking.
“We have had a number of requests from our provider customers and their dealers to enable OptionSoft Menu,” said Ron Greer, vice president of provider services at PEN.
“We are both happy to complete the integration in a timely manner to maximize the value for all of our mutual customers,” Greer continued.
OptionSoft Technologies president Ken Tomaro added, “Integration to PEN allows OptionSoft to become more responsive to our clients with more efficiency.
“Our dealers benefit through access to PEN’s network of VSC and ancillary product providers,” Tomaro went on to say. “OptionSoft benefits through reduced administration, allowing us to focus on our dealer facing products.”
With real-time reports, full customization and what the company called industry-leading tools, OptionSoft said that it’s a platform that can support a business manager’s success, “without controlling their process and keeping them compliant,” according to Greer.
“Supporting dealer flexibility and choice is what PEN is all about,” he added.
