CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA announced late last week that two of its auctions have been honored with quarterly awards from General Motors Remarketing.

ADESA Dallas beat out nine other auctions to take top honors in south central region in the first-quarter 2010 GM sponsored Auction Operational Awards — its first time earning such honors — while ADESA Seattle was chosen from 11 auctions vying for the award in the western region.

ADESA Seattle has been given this award four of the last five years, including three straight wins from 2006 through 2008.

"Our factory manager Darren Darnell and his team do a wonderful job," stated ADESA Dallas general manager Ken Osborn. "Everyone on his staff is very focused on customer service, and it's truly an honor to receive this award from General Motors."

ADESA Seattle general manager Jason Arcaro added: "We sincerely appreciate General Motors' recognition. Every person from check-in to check-out earned a piece of this award. And Carla LaRouche, our factory manager, has worked hard to maintain a strong relationship with General Motors."
