PITTSBURGH -

A Pennsylvania woman and her brother apparently had a very un-merry Christmas Eve.

State police in Indiana County are investigating the incident that took place on Christmas Eve.

According a story published by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, law enforcement indicated two men came to Diane Howard’s White Township home and told her brother they were sent by a repossession agency to take her vehicle. The unit was silver 2005 Ford Focus.

The men then drove away the vehicle, but police later found that the company they claimed to represent had not authorized Howard’s vehicle to be repossessed.

Police think the men arrived in a tan or beige compact car. One man was described as tall, white, approximately 6 feet tall and sporting a full gray beard that ran to the middle of his chest. He was wearing a reddish-brown leather jacket. The other man was described as white and clean shaven with short brown hair.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with further details to contact state police in Indiana County at (724) 357-1960.
