Used-Car Dealers Now Can Receive Rebates for Using OVE.com
In a two-month promotion that kicked off last week, Manheim is offering rebates to used-car dealers when they post vehicles for sale on OVE.com. As the number of sales on the site for a dealer increases, so does the rebate, officials explained.
Additionally, Manheim’s The Wholesale Institute is holding two free online seminars next week that can show dealers how to maximize this promotion, which goes through Nov. 1.
The Webinars — which are slated for Sept. 14 and Sept. 15 — will delve into the benefits of dealers being able to sell directly from their lots while also discussing the post-sale processes and demonstrating how dealers can request listing services.
The OVE.com promotion is open to dealers who are U.S. sellers and have a valid AuctionACCESS 5 million number. It excludes Total Resource Auctions/salvage vehicles and national accounts.
“We want dealers to know that selling inventory from their lots through OVE.com can pay off in a big way, and we’re not just talking about the rebates during this promotion,” said Joe George, group vice president of Manheim Digital.
“By selling inventory directly from their lots via OVE.com, dealers can sell vehicles earlier and make more money, dramatically reducing overall remarketing costs,” he continued. “A number of our dealers already have been taking advantage of this service, and for them, this promotion serves as a reward for their continued online business.”
