OAK BROOK, Ill. — vAuto has rolled out enhancements to its Live Market Merchandising Module that are designed to help dealers more effectively manage used inventory processes.

These upgrades allow dealers to upload and customize vehicle photographs, produce window stickers and transmit listings to online marketing channels.

"The expanded vAuto system provides our customers one central location to manage their offline and online used-inventory processes," pointed out Keith Jezek, vAuto's president and chief executive officer.

"We believe this added functionality will simplify inventory management processes and reduce duplication of efforts, lower costs and result in a quicker time to market for used vehicles," he added.

With the enhancements, dealers have the ability to customize overlays for photos and can create watermarks using the vAuto Live Market Merchandising Module.

Dealers can market each photo individually, officials explained, thus allowing them to showcase the photo's unique features.

And with the ability to transmit their listings to third-party sites, dealers can generate more exposure for their used inventory.

"In addition, vAuto's window stickers provide robust option detail broken down by category, much like manufacturer's stickers," officials pointed out.

Continuing on, executives noted that last year, the Virtual View and AutoWriter Technology were the first tools to be launched within the Live Market Merchandising Module.

Explaining how these tools work, Virtual View is designed to enable dealers to ensure that prices, photographs and descriptions of displayed vehicles are correct. Meanwhile, the AutoWriter Technology lets dealers create and publish custom descriptions of vehicles in their online listings.
