Which New Models Are Currently the Best Deals?
With TrueCar.com analysts believing the best day in September to purchase a new-vehicle is Thursday, they rattled off more than 10 models with double-digit discounts.
Leading the way on this list with the greatest incentive and rebate package to reduce the MSRP is the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. Incentives reduce the vehicle price by 24 percent to $11,898.
The list includes 11 different nameplates and various vehicle segments ranging from a hybrid to a minivan to a compact pickup truck.
“At the end of September we see a combination of events that will definitely bring big savings to new car shoppers,” explained Jesse Toprak, vice president of industry trends and insights for TrueCar.com.
“The end of summer clearance sales, manufacturer discounts expiring, the last minute push from volume incentive programs, all of these give dealers extra stimulus to discount cars,” Toprak added.
