America’s Group has gone south and northeast with its auto auction purchases in 2025, buying South Georgia Auto Auction and New Jersey’s Car-Tech Auto Auction.

It is now headed west.

The rapidly expanding auction company said Monday it has purchased North Bay Auto Auction, which is in Fairfield, Calif.

The purchase of North Bay, founded by Don Morrow, gives America’s Group its first location in Northern California.

The company has two Auctions in Motions sales in Southern California (Santa Ana and Thousand Oaks).

“Expanding into Northern California with North Bay Auto Auction is another milestone in our growth strategy,” America’s Group CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release.

“Their experienced team and deep-rooted relationships with buyers and sellers will be a tremendous asset to our network. As we continue breaking records, this acquisition positions us to deliver even greater value to our customers in this key market,” he said.

North Bay plans to continue holding sales at 9 a.m. (PT) on Thursdays. Morrow, the auction’s founder, said in the release: “How your life’s work is carried on defines the legacy of that effort. America’s Auto Auction feels like the choice to protect, honor, and build upon the 32 years of dedication we’ve invested in North Bay Auto Auction.”

This is the fourth purchase America’s Group has announced in 2025.

The company added its third auction in the Peach State, announcing that it acquired South Georgia Auto Auction in Albany.

America’s also announced purchases of Car-Tech Auto Auction in February and auction tech platform auctionVcommerce in January.
