Auction news: Revamped NAAA safety program goes live; DAA adds new sales VP
The National Auto Auction Association’s newest safety training program is up and running.
NAAA announced its revamped NAAA Safety Training is now available, with 10 new live-action video courses replacing the previous animated video courses. That includes a “Driver & Lot Safety” course tailored for drivers.
In addition to those 10 videos, NAAA has launched five new job-specific video courses that auctions can assign to employees on a case-by-case basis, depending on their job responsibilities.
The association said individuals still must pass a test following each course, and noted while certificates will still be provided for individuals, it will no longer issue certificates on an auction-wide basis.
NAAA has also created a web page for member auctions that need to use an offline training program to train multiple employees in a classroom setting. The page includes the video courses as well as a downloadable testing document and completion certificate.
The new safety training videos are available here, and the offline training program can be accessed here.
