Two automotive shipping companies have hit the top 20.

That’s the 2024 MOTOR Top 20 Awards, presented by automotive data supplier MOTOR Information Systems.

Montway said its new portal offers dealer groups improved efficiency for managing inventory and transportation costs across multiple rooftops.

M.A.P. is designed to consolidate data points from all stores, providing visibility to reduce rate-per-mile, decrease cycle times, acquire used inventory on a national scale and control transportation costs.

The system allows users to access any rooftop to see the location of their units and expected arrival times. Montway said using fresh insights allows dealer principals, general managers, chief financial officer and fixed ops managers to boost the profitability of each dealer in the group.

M.A.P.’s proprietary technology allows users to enter one or multiple VINs into the portal to receive pricing, book orders and track units in real time through the dashboard. M.A.P. also offers public tracking links dealers can share with end customers and a centralized location for storing digital records such as proof of delivery documents, BOLs, gate passes and photos.

Ship.Cars said its AI-powered SmartHaul TMS is the only complete auto transportation and logistics platform that offers a full suite of smart technology features. It’s designed to provide everything company owners, dispatchers and drivers need to improve operations, optimizing finding, booking and processing loads to help carriers meet increased demand and enhance profitability.

Its features include real-time updates and tracking, Trip Builder to maximize per-mile revenue, Load Scout for new load alerts based on preferences and a mobile load board to search, negotiate and book orders on the go.

Ship.Cars said the platform helps carriers streamline processes and centralize documents and automate tasks within the transportation management process.
