Black Book, Laser Appraiser, Net Profit Join POADA
CARY, N.C. — The Pre-Owned Automobile Dealers Alliance, a national alliance of dealers and service providers specializing in servicing the pre-owned marketplace, recently added three new Partners to its growing list of industry members.
Black Book, the industry source for timely, independent and accurate vehicle valuation data and Web site-based lead conversion tools; Laser Appraiser, an automotive valuation system; and Net Profit, a management consulting and training company, have all joined the alliance as Charter Partners.
Black Book, Laser Appraiser and Net Profit will join other Charter Partners, which include Manheim, Carfax, Kelley Blue Book, GMAC Financial Services, CDM Dealer Services, DealerTrack and EasyCare in connecting with and providing value to pre-owned dealers through partnership in the alliance.
All three new POADA Partners share the alliance's goal of helping dealers grow profits in the pre-owned market and improving the image of the pre-owned industry.

Bill Zadeits, executive vice president of Cherokee Automotive Group, which formed POADA, added that these new industry partnerships signify the growing strength of the business alliance.

POADA will be at booth No. 867 at the upcoming National Automobile Dealers Association's Convention and Expo in Orlando Feb. 13-15. Staff at the booth will be on hand to explain how POADA operates, how it benefits dealers, how the relationship with various Partners provides added membership benefits and how POADA's own vehicle certification program, CarMark Certified, is providing new profit opportunities.

POADA was formed in late 2009 to assist dealers with retail and wholesale sales in the pre-owned market segment, identified by POADA as current model to five-year-old used vehicles.
POADA affiliation is open at no cost to all dealers — franchise, former franchise and independent — where retail inventory and sales fall primarily within the pre-owned market segment (five years and newer). Companies producing products or services for pre-owned dealers join POADA as Partners and often offer market incentives to POADA dealers.
