TPC Management announced Monday that it will begin providing strategic consulting to Elite Transport Services.

Based in Kansas City, Mo., Elite Transport Services was founded in 2012 and is now a division of TransAm Logistics, which provides additional transportation-related services such as factoring receivables and providing third-party logistics.

“Over the years we have regularly worked with vehicle transport companies, recognizing that the best remarketing efforts depend heavily on distribution and the ability to get vehicles to the right markets in a quick and economical manner,” TPC president Pierre Pons said in a news release. “We are delighted to be working with J.D. Glover, whose enthusiasm and work effort are well known to us from past industry assignments in the transport industry. Now with the backing and infrastructure of TransAm Logistics, Elite Transport is able to bring together all the elements of exemplary customer service and expedient execution coupled with very competitive pricing to offer a superior product to vehicle remarketers and auto dealers,” Pons continued.

J.D. Glover, Elite Transport Services vice president, founded the company in 2012, following years working as both a fleet/lease manager and general manager for auctions in the McConkey Group.

“When I worked in the auction side of the business, I saw how important it was for customers to have a dependable way to move vehicles to and from the point of sale,” said Glover. “With many dealers purchasing vehicles on a variety of different platforms, I recognized the need for a logistics company that would facilitate delivery of those vehicles in a consistent and reliable manner. I launched Elite Transport Services founded on that principle, and am excited to be working with TPC Management to expand our relationships in the industry,” he explained.

For over 20 years, TPC Mangement has offered consulting programs to automotive related companies including independent auto auctions, technology firms and transport firms.

TPC Mangement assignments revolve around working closely with business owners and top management personnel to increase revenues and implement operational efficiencies, the company said.
