Hertz Enhances Rent2Buy Through KBB Partnership
PARK RIDGE, N.J. — Hertz Rent2Buy has teamed up with Kelley Blue Book for a partnership designed to enhance the online car-buying program.
Basically, it allows Hertz Rent2Buy customers to compare Hertz's used-vehicle prices with the KBB Suggested Retail Value. The partnership also extends Hertz's reach, as its inventory can now be accessed on Kbb.com's The Trusted Marketplace.
Shoppers who specifically want to look at a Hertz vehicle can simply search for Hertz Rent2Buy units on The Trusted Marketplace.
And if a shopper finds a Hertz vehicle he wants to buy, the site will send the individual to HertzRent2Buy.com to reserve and purchase the car.
"In conjunction with Kelley Blue Book, Hertz is able to demonstrate to car shoppers how much lower its Rent2Buy pricing is than the Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value," shared John Thomas, Hertz executive vice president of global supply chain management.
"This partnership also provides car shoppers an additional outlet for searching Hertz's car sales inventory via The Trusted Marketplace," he added. "Kelley Blue Book is a trustworthy source for car shoppers and this relationship will serve Hertz Rent2Buy customers well with these new additions."
Damon Bennett, vice president of business development for KBB, added: "We are pleased to be working with Hertz Rent2Buy and offering Kelley Blue Book Values to their customers.
"This new relationship will now allow consumers to compare the Hertz price with the trusted Kelley Blue Book Value to make more informed buying decisions," he continued.
