Location Services, an Indianapolis-based forwarding company in the servicing segment of automotive, said Tuesday it has acquired Strategic Remarketing Solutions, which is a forwarding and remarketing company.

In a news release, Location Services CEO Jerry Kroshus said, “We are thrilled to have the SRS team join our organization. SRS’s penetration into the regional bank and credit union space complements our business model.

“They are also like-minded in the areas of culture, performance and customer service, so it will be a seamless transition,” Kroshus said. “Together, we are well positioned to offer our clients even greater efficiencies and support, backed by an expanded workforce.”

SRS is a national forwarding company that offers remarketing, recovery and title solutions to banks, finance companies and credit unions. The Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based company is led by president Jeff Bescher, who is also chair of the board at the Automotive Remarketing Alliance.

“We are very excited to become a part of the Location Services team. Location Services has been on a rapid growth trajectory over the past few years, as have we at SRS,” Bescher said.

“We have a tremendous group of people at SRS and culturally, our two companies are a great fit,” he added. “We believe in people, partnerships and processes, as does Location Services.”

Location Services provides full-service recovery management for banks, finance companies and credit unions, including solutions for recovery, skip, LPR, remarketing, titles, impounds, keys, transportation and legal notices.

It is owned by Delaware Street Capital. David Heller, a partner at the investment firm, said in the release, “We are pleased to add SRS into our Location Services organization. They have a terrific group of very experienced individuals, which will further strengthen our service offerings for our clients.”
