Location Services said Thursday it has acquired third-party dealer consignment remarketing company Marina Hill Finance.

Location Services, a full-service recovery management company, also announced it is rebranding its remarketing division as Pinnacle Remarketing.

Marina Hill Finance is based in San Antonio, Fla., which is Northeast of the Tampa area and to the Southwest of Orlando. It is led by founder and CEO Bob Sketch.

“We are thrilled to announce that we have acquired Marina Hill Finance,” Location Services CEO Jerry Kroshus said in a news release. “Bob Sketch and his team have built a tremendous dealer consignment business over the years and by combining their volumes with our remarketing channels, it will only enhance our overall strategy and effectiveness.”

“The merger with Location Services is an exciting step forward for our team,” Sketch said in the release. “By joining forces with Locations Services / Pinnacle Remarketing, we are gaining access to best-in-class resources, expertise and infrastructure that will allow us to accelerate growth and continue to provide top tier solutions for our customers.”

This is the latest in a series of moves for the company. Location Services purchased Strategic Remarketing Solutions in December. Two days later, it hired Paul Seger as chief remarketing officer.

“By adding Bob and his team to our organization it further strengthens our reach and gives us a more prominent footprint across the country. Bob has a seasoned team, and they are in markets where we do not overlap,” Seger said in the release.

He added: “We are building an incredible remarketing program at Locations Services. We are very fortunate to have Debbie Stokes, Mike Rodi, Jay Watson, Dave Theobold and Bob Sketch and others, as senior leaders. We have rebranded as Pinnacle Remarketing to better capture our full-service offerings.”

Pinnacle will specialize in remarketing bank, finance company and credit union repossessed vehicles, dealer consignment and third-party vehicles.

Location Services is owned by Delaware Street Capital. David Heller, one of the firm’s partners, said: “Adding Marina Hill Finance and rebranding to Pinnacle Remarketing are both examples of our commitment to growing our business model.
