Manheim Reveals New GM for Calif. Location & Auction Manager for 2 Fla. Locations

Manheim announced a couple of appointments on Tuesday, appointing a new general manager for one of its locations and an auction manager to cover two locations.
Chad Ruffin has been hired general manager for Manheim Southern California.
“The hiring of Chad is a true testament to Manheim’s goal of putting leaders in place to drive business growth and expand our customer base,” said Rock Anderson, regional vice president, West Region Operations. “Our customers will benefit from his leadership, industry knowledge and insights.”
And in the Sunshine State, Donny Cohen has been promoted to auction manager for Manheim Daytona Beach and Manheim Jacksonville.
Cohen is now responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of both locations.
“It is always exciting to promote great talented employees like Donny,” said Mike McKinney, RVP, East Region Operations. “He is a dynamic leader who will use his expertise and experiences to deliver solutions that help our customers succeed.”
Highlighting the new hires’ background, Ruffin has spent more than 16 years in the wholesale industry and has worked for Manheim, HSBC, Arcadia/Citi Financial and others.
Ruffin spent five years at Manheim earlier in his career in various roles, including dealer sales manager, Ford account manager, recon manager and assistant recon manager, Manheim shared.
Cohen, who assumed his new role for the two locations earlier this month, has more than 21 years of experience in the auction industry, including seven with Manheim.
He was named assistant general manager at Manheim St. Pete in early 2012. Prior to that role, Cohen worked at Manheim Fort Myers.
