World champion auto auctioneer Michael Adcock has joined the ranks of Warren Young Fellows.

Adcock was presented the honor by the National Auto Auction Association last week during the 2025 World Automobile Auctioneers Championship’s dinner and draw event at Manheim Phoenix in Tolleson, Ariz.

Adcock, a third-generation auctioneer, became the youngest world champion auto auctioneer in 2008, when he won the title at age 22. His brother Charles won the next year, which completed the family’s triple crown – their father, M. Scott Adcock, earned the trophy in 1991.

Over the years, Michael Adcock has shared the block with his grandfather, father, brothers, uncles and his cousins, working auctions of all types in locations across the country.

NAAA cited his extensive knowledge of the used car and classic automobile markets, and his longtime support of the association and the WAAC, noting he has worked to recruit contestants and past champions to be part of the event and he has volunteered “countless hours” to help make it a success.

NAAA recognized Adcock with a $2,500 donation to the NAAA Warren Young Sr. Scholastic Foundation. Since its establishment in 2004, the NAAA Foundation, named in honor of industry pioneer Warren Young Sr., has helped students pursue dreams of higher education and has assisted individuals in their time of need.
