Upcoming NABD Conference to Focus on Helping BHPH Dealers Find Inventory at Right Price
Helping buy-here, pay-here dealers find enough inventory at the right price is just part of the finalized agenda at the upcoming East Coast National Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers Conference.
A panel of experts from ADESA, Ally Remarketing and Manheim will be part of the event that runs Nov. 6 – 8 in Atlanta. That panel will be moderated by Auto Remarketing publisher Bill Zadeits.
“Although finding good BHPH inventory has always been challenging, current wholesale supplies and rising costs present some new ones,” stated Ken Shilson, founder and president of NABD.
“With a limited availability of capital, many dealers are finding that the old ways of sourcing and acquiring the vehicles they need just aren’t working like they used to,” Shilson continued. “This panel will provide a new perspective on the BHPH wholesale market at a time when dealers acquire vehicles for the selling season."
Besides this panel discussion, the conference’s agenda includes other educational sessions that feature many of the nation’s leading experts and operators.
All sessions include an operator’s perspective on each topic. The conference focus is on compliance, capital and finding the best inventory in the challenging marketplace of today.
Furthermore, Shilson pointed out all workshop sessions will be interactive, so attendees can ask questions and get immediate answers and share their knowledge with others.
“This conference is for anyone who is interested in being successful in BHPH today. In fact, that is our conference theme,” Shilson insisted.
In addition, Shilson pointed out a sold-out exhibit hall is designed to allow attendees to network with other operators and industry experts who can also help.
The conference exhibitors include every type of capital provider, and two receptions as well as a luncheon in the hall are designed to help attendees connect with these resources.
The conference will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center and adjoining new Gateway Marriott Hotel, which are both connected to the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.
“We are delighted to have this venue at the Georgia International Convention Center and the new Gateway Marriott Hotel. These facilities are connected to the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport by a dedicated sky train so attendees will not need ground transportation,” Shilson pointed out.
“Attendees can be in their hotel room and at the show within 15 minutes after landing,” he estimated.
NABD obtained discounted room rates of $129 per night that are available until Sunday.
Conference registrations can be made online at www.bhphinfo.com or by calling NABD headquarters at (832) 767-4759.
