HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -
WomenCertified recently revealed its 2011 Vision Award for the auto industry, and receiving this year’s honor was Jim Dunn, who is the vice president and general manager for JM Lexus in Margate, Fla.
As some may know, WomenCertified is a training and certification program that teaches effective communication skills, customer appreciation and fostering a better customer experience. To earn a WomenCertified Seal of Approval, companies and dealerships must have at least 70 percent go through WomenCertified’s program.
The training delves into the buying preferences of women while also sharing the best ways to approach, communicate and partner with female shoppers so that a win-win company-customer relationship can be fostered and maintained.
Through the awards, WomenCertified spotlights leaders who use initiatives and programs at their respective company to create an environment better suited to meet the needs of women.
“We are honored to be recognized for our efforts to make our customers’ buying experience even more distinctive than ever before,” Dunn noted.

“We aim to create a comfortable atmosphere and provide clients with all the facts they need to make the most informed decisions possible,” he continued. “This is just another way we strive to be the best.”

WomenCertified founder Delia Passi added: “Mr. Dunn has been a huge supporter of the WomenCertified mission, and a true pioneer in showing what a women-friendly, customer-centric dealership experience is all about.

“It’s time for dealers to make a change and carefully examine what their customers really want and Jim Dunn understands this, making it happen daily at JM Lexus,” she noted.
