Black Book, Vettx integration boosts data for dealers
Black Book has integrated its data into Vettx, an auto industry software provider, stating that the partnership will provide dealers with more data to make faster, more accurate decisions.
Vettx said it makes buying private party vehicles directly from consumers accessible for dealers of any size. In its most recent update, dealers can send SMS messages and e-mails to sellers directly from the app, search inventory within a market, and use Black Book data to give more precise appraisals, according to the company.
The one-stop shop for dealers from Vettx includes a standalone tool and a dedicated booking team that sets up every deal for participating dealers. The company said that with its new features, dealers can become more targeted in their searches, allowing them to more easily find which cars they are searching for.
“This integration is extremely helpful because it adds additional relevant data to assist the buyer, making us the first private market vehicle acquisition platform to provide historically accurate-VIN specific values and market insights,” said Jamie Hashemi, Vettx general manager, in a news release. “The partnership will give any dealership partnered with Vettx the edge over their competition, hands down.”
“In this market, it’s imperative to buy right,” said Black Book executive vice president, revenue, Jared Kalfus. “Vettx helps its customers do just that, and we’re proud that our precise data helps in that process.”
