ESSEX, United Kingdom -

IAA’s U.K.-based business unit has expanded its vehicle delivery service for its buyers, and the company said that with the expansion, it can deliver vehicles anywhere on the U.K. mainland.

IAA said the expansion takes place following several technology modernization investments.

The service uses IAA’s expanded vehicle transporter fleet and the company’s INFORM Transportation Management System software, and the company said the service saves time and money for buyers.

Buyers using the IAA delivery service have the option for vehicles to be delivered from IAA branches to their location of choice. That results in savings on fuel and other transportation costs, IAA said, adding that through the new service, IAA buyers also receive discounts on bulk deliveries.

The service offering is an example of how IAA’s technology modernization program is creating value for IAA’s U.K. buyers, said Steve Hankins, U.K. managing director for IAA.

“Through our market-leading technology and ongoing capacity investments, IAA continues to provide a seamless experience for our customers,” Hankins said in a news release.
