CARY, N.C. -

As a place to foster discussion and share ideas and industry event details, Auto Remarketing’s community on LinkedIn continues to strengthen.

Auto Remarketing’s home on the business social networking site now includes more than 1,000 members who all hold vital roles at auctions, dealerships and other remarketing companies.

“As with much of the rapid growth in social networking, Auto Remarketing’s growth on LinkedIn is following that trend and connecting the media properties to many, many people who wouldn’t normally be interacting with our media, events — and importantly — our advertisers,” stated Bill Zadeits, associate publisher of Auto Remarketing.

“With the inside track on news and information coming from our media properties via RSS feeds and pertinent information contributed by other members, the 1,000-plus executives who are part of the Auto Remarketing LinkedIn group are on the front line of the industry,” Zadeits continued.

Zadeits went on to highlight that one of the unique ways Auto Remarketing has used the LinkedIn group is to create interest in the media property’s best-in-class Webinar series.

The Auto Remarketing Training Series are free sessions that gather together leading industry experts who share best practices for store managers whether the dealership is large or small. Panelists from companies such as AutoTrader.com, Black Book, Carfax, DealerTrack, Manheim, OPENLANE and more have offered their expertise during the series that’s been a dealer resource for more than a year.

The next ARTS installment is coming soon — 2 p.m. EST on June 14. Keep tabs with Auto Remarketing Today for free registration details.

Furthermore, Auto Remarketing’s home on LinkedIn also has been a catalyst for the National Remarketing Conference — the annual gathering that brings together top names from throughout the industry.

“We’ve been successful in growing our business by reaching beyond the boundaries of North America in attracting international remarketing executives,” Zadeits insisted.

“Without the Auto Remarketing LinkedIn group, these executives would potentially never have heard about the event, and at the very least, it would’ve been more difficult for them to connect with us,” he went on to say. “We’re all better for their participation in the NRC, and we look forward to growing even more in the years to come.”

Preliminary details about this year’s National Remarketing Conference — set for Nov. 16-18 at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas — are already available at http://nrc.autoremarketing.com
