AutoUSA & HookLogic Partner for Incentive Program to Boost Showroom Traffic
AutoUSA recently launched ShowPro powered by HookLogic, an incentive solution for dealers aimed at increasing incremental sales by turning more Internet leads into “shows.”
ShowPro can allow dealers to offer a financial incentive to in-market customers, motivating them to visit the dealer’s showroom. ShowPro also can provide dealers with territorial exclusivity, designed to ensure that no competitive dealers will be offering the same incentive products to their independent Internet leads.
Officials explained how ShowPro is intended to operate.
When a customer is looking at specific inventory on a dealership’s website, a form appears offering them a selection of gift cards upon a visit to the dealer’s showroom. The incentive will also be offered through more than 100 automotive research and shopping websites that has partnered with AutoUSA.
When a customer enters information and submits a lead through an independent website, the customer will be sent a coupon code via e-mail that he or she can bring to the dealership and present to a salesperson. The salesperson enters the code into a simple Web interface, and a gift card will be mailed to the customer.
AutoUSA emphasized that ShowPro is a complete turnkey solution through its close partnership with HookLogic, which will be one of the companies featured during the Certified Pre-Owned Conference on Nov. 14 and 15.

AutoUSA also believes ShowPro can deliver a host of benefits to dealerships, including the following:
—15 to 25 percent of coupon holders visit the dealership.
—40 to 60 percent of coupon holders who visit the dealership purchase a vehicle.
—10 to 25 percent increase in overall close rates
—Low $100 to $250 cost per sale and increased incremental sales.
—When customers choose to contact multiple dealers on independent websites, ShowPro dealers can provide the incentive needed to gain competitive advantage over other dealers.
—The first dealers to sign up for ShowPro will have territorial exclusivity for independent Internet leads. ShowPro will not be offered to competitive dealers’ leads within a defined radius.
—Dealers pay only for incentives redeemed by prospects.
