ATLANTA -

EasyCare has teamed up with used-car research provider PureCars for a partnership that allows dealers to offer more comprehensive vehicle details to interested shoppers when sending EasyCare CoVideo messages.

Thanks to the alliance, when an EasyCare dealership sends a personalized video to a customer in response to a question, the CoVideo message will also include a PureCars Value Report.

The report offers what officials call the car’s “value drivers.” Such details include: below market price, certification, the vehicle’s accident and ownership history, list of options with photos and how the vehicle stacks up to similar units on sale in the market in terms of pricing and value.

Additionally, the report also provides historical value and price data for recently sold units.

“We’re proud to have EasyCare and their CoVideo application as an integrated partner,” said Jeremy Anspach, president of PureCars.

“With our two technologies working seamlessly together, a bond between the customer and the dealer will be established before they even visit the dealer’s lot,” Anspach continued.

EasyCare chief executive officer Larry Dorfman noted: “The main driver of this partnership between EasyCare and PureCars is our commitment to provide a better buying experience for shoppers at EasyCare dealerships.

“The customized and personalized EasyCare CoVideo message, combined with comprehensive PureCars Value Reports, will give EasyCare dealers a competitive advantage during the most critical step of the car shopping phase, when customers are making their first contact with a dealership,” he added.

Also, the companies said they plan on expanding the partnership to help further boost consumer confidence in used-car shopping, officials indicated.
