GM Approaches Remarketing Landmark
General Motors is set to meet a major remarketing milestone this month, as it plans to sell its 14 millionth auction vehicle during a special GM factory sale in Connecticut.
The landmark sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. EST on March 28 at Southern Auto Auction in East Windsor, Conn. The sale that day will include more than 75 company cars, a special luncheon and gifts, mystery vehicle gifts and a prize drawing at the end of the day.
This sale at Southern AA is for GM dealers only.
“It is an honor for SAA to remarket the 14 millionth vehicle for GM. In our 29-year partnership, we have remarketed the 2 millionth and the 9 millionth vehicle for General Motors,” stated Larry Tribble, the auction’s owner and president.
“As I look back over the years and reflect upon our GM partnership, I was astounded to realize we have sold over 850,000 cars for over $10.5 billion in gross proceeds,” he continued.
The event will kick off a series of 65th anniversary promotions for Southern AA.
