KANSAS CITY, Mo. -

KCI Auto Auction is teaming up with sister auctions DAA Northwest and El Paso Independent Auto Auction to host a NASCAR Days promotion this spring that will not only feature a plethora of vehicles up for sale, but also appearances from NASCAR drivers Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer.

The promotion is set for April 18–19 at KCI’s facility in Kansas City, Mo. Following the sale on April 18, there will be a “Biffle vs. Bowyer Charity Challenge” fundraiser and reception. 

Proceeds will go to a special NASCAR charity, a driver-versus-driver competition that raises funds.

Biffle and Bowyer will chat with guests, and then dealers will have the chance to bid on NASCAR memorabilia during a live auction. The last prize to be auctioned off will be an exclusive VIP trip to a Barrett-Jackson sale and a chance to join either Biffle or Bowyer as the driver donates a customized truck to charity at the event.

Explaining more about the sales at NASCAR Days, officials noted there will be a combined 1,200 units up for sale on April 18 and April 19. 

The April 18 sale will include vehicles from dealers in the region, as well as late-model consignment from Enterprise Holdings and Avis Budget Group.

The April 19 sale will feature 1,000 vehicles. Additionally, there will be a post-sale grand-prize drawing that day to win a trip to the races at the Kansas Speedway that weekend. 

“Continuing to develop our promotional sales will help us acquire new business on both national and local levels. Guitars and Cars is known as the biggest auction event in the Midwest,” stated KCI co-owner Doug Doll, referring to the successful promotion last year that featured country stars Diamond Rio. “With our NASCAR Days promotion, we’re anticipating bringing a new level of excitement to the Midwest.”

He added: “Our customers are going to be involved a week-long event that offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences that can’t be matched by anyone.”
