Tonight, Perry’s Auto Auction will be featured on a news program on national TV.

Brian Sullivan, co-anchor of CNBC’s Street Signs, is hosting the CNBC broadcast, Getting Back To Business.

The event will bring together well-known corporate leaders and small business owners from across the country for a unique look at very different companies that are working to keep America’s economy running and growing.

Kelvin Thompson, owner of Perry’s Auto Auction, was invited to join the event for an informative and dynamic discussion regarding the success and pitfalls of starting, buying, and running businesses of all sizes during an economic recession.

Perry’s Auto Auction is the oldest continuously running auto auction in the state of Georgia, and is a member of the National Auto Auction Association, Georgia Independent Auto Dealers Association and the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council.

Thompson acquired the business in 2007 after spending over 25 years working in technology-based industries; his last position was an executive with Hewlett-Packard. Perry’s Auto Auction’s growing base of national and regional fleet and lease consigners, as well as area dealership franchises and independent dealers, has contributed to the company’s success and momentum.

During CNBC’s program, Getting Back to Business, viewers will not only be given advice and insights from some of America’s top industrialists, they will also hear the opinions of entrepreneurs, like Thompson, on what it takes to run a small business in a challenging and ever-changing economy.
