Under a partnership between EasyCare and Carfax announced Monday, Carfax Vehicle History Reports will automatically be included in the CoVideo video email tool from EasyCare.

This means that dealers who use EasyCare CoVideo and Carfax can immediately pass this information along to customers on their websites or through personalized videos sent in response to Internet leads.

Explaining more about what the EasyCare CoVideo email tool offers, officials noted that it is designed to provide an “extremely effective” communication stream between dealership staff and potential customers and offer “more of the personal interaction that used-car shoppers crave.”

In responding to a customer lead, EasyCare CoVideo not only provides the Carfax information, it offers personal video email and visual vehicle details.

“Most dealers today communicate to their customers and prospects using email,” said Mike Delong, national director of EasyCare CoVideo. “The quicker the response to an Internet lead, the better chance of a sale. But, no email, even with its bold-typed words and colorful graphic, can replace the passionate voice inflections of the face-to-face communications EasyCare CoVideo provides.

“Consumers open video email more often than text and we have clear evidence that the consumer is responding better to personalized video than to traditional text based e mails,” he continued.
