CHICAGO -

So many review sites, so little time: That’s the premise behind a new tool launched by reputation and social media management firm SOCIALDEALER.

Announced this week, the reputation monitoring service aims to help dealers and manufacturers actively monitor the top ten review sites in real time, including Google, DealerRater, Edmunds.com and Cars.com.

The SOCIALDEALER tool can also help dealerships identify gaps in their sales and service processes, and respond quickly to any negative reviews, the company said. Weekly reports are provided to help management watch overall trends in reputation, and steer messages regarding their brand and store.

“One recurring issue we are hearing from dealers is that managing their reputation across so many review sites requires significant time and energy,” said Phil Penton, president of SOCIALDEALER. “They know that reviews are affecting their sales and see the importance of monitoring them, they just need a way to get it done efficiently.

“After hearing this, we developed a cost-effective solution to provide dealers with a snapshot of their reputation, so they are always aware of what’s being said about their brand," he added.
