Following an April launch on the fleet side, Spiffy’s first franchise group in San Jose, Calif., is now providing on-demand car care services to consumers there.

The franchise’s co-owners and operators are Alina Siert, Matt Siert, Lucille Sablan and Eric Sablan.

The group also owns a LeanFeast franchise.

In a news release, Spiffy said a passion of Alina Siert and Lucille Sablan has been the fact they’ve taken a woman- and minority-owned business into a traditionally male-dominated business.

“A big focus for our LLC is finding the right spaces to establish ourselves that help others like us: enthusiastic but busy parents, trying to balance work and their family lives,” Alina Siert said in a news release. “Our first franchise focused on convenient, healthy meals in two minutes or less.

“With Spiffy, it’s car care. To make that easier for moms and parents to have quality family time with that type of product is very important to us.”

Giving back to the community has also been a big emphasis for the group, they said. Their LeanFeast and Spiffy franchise have contributed $40,000 to the San Jose area and the Philippines, according to the news release.

“Our ownership group shares the same vision of wanting to help our community and make a greater impact, but in doing so with a bigger platform,” Lucille Sablan said. “Our mission has been our social causes, including food insecurity, homelessness, empowering women, and fighting racism. Beyond that, we’ve also been growing our businesses to give back and make a bigger impact in our local and global communities.”
