CarGurus Instant Max Cash Offer expands to more states & DC
CarGurus said Friday it is expanding the coverage of its Instant Max Cash Offer program to 11 new states and Washington, D.C. Why is this important for dealers? Now, dealers in the CarGurus/CarOffer network have significantly more quality used inventory from which to choose .
CarGurus Instant Max Cash Offer — which lets consumers sell their vehicles digitally, 100% online — has expanded its coverage to Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington D.C.
These locations expand on prior launches announced in July and September, and enable nearly half of U.S. consumers to access this service, CarGurus said.
This lets consumers sell their vehicles quickly online, and that vehicle can be picked up at their desired location; and for dealers that are part of the CarGurus/CarOffer network, they gain access to a new stream of inventory and are well-positioned to compete with national retailers for pre-owned vehicles.
“Finding a solution that meets the needs of the consumer and dealer was the priority behind CarGurus Instant Max Cash Offer,” said Sam Zales, president and chief operating officer at CarGurus, in the press release.
“We took the powerful network of the CarOffer wholesale trading platform and aimed it toward consumers, uniting dealers and consumers by providing the best, instant offer where both the consumer and dealer win. This has catapulted CarGurus’ automotive digital retailing capabilities to a new level, adding unique depth to the shopping, valuation, and financing pre-qualification experience we offer.”
