CHICAGO -

If a salesperson doesn’t know every single detail about a particular model, MAX Systems believes its new iPad application “provides dealership professionals with the ability to be an expert on every vehicle on their lot.”

Company officials plan to officially roll out the MAX for Selling Elite iPad app on the opening day of the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention and Expo this week in San Francisco.

MAX Systems explained the MAX for Selling Elite iPad app can capture virtually everything about each vehicle from across the Internet and harnesses it within a single iPad app.

The MAX iPad app includes:

—Photos.

—High-value equipment.

—Price comparisons versus consumer guide books and average Internet price.

—J.D. Power and U.S. government quality and safety ratings.

—Expert reviews.

—Carfax and AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports.

—Comparison shopping versus other dealers.

“This app is set to turn the car buying process on its head by going right to the heart of one of the most feared consumer experiences,” MAX Systems insisted.

The MAX for Selling Elite app is designed to add mobile capabilities and advancements to the company’s flagship MAX for Selling platform.

Using the Apple iPad as a mobile business tool, MAX Systems thinks the app can empower dealers to shift the sales process from a desk-only negotiation to a customized sales experience that begins on the showroom floor and dealer lot.

“Few purchase experiences generate the level of stress, anxiety and fear as the prospect of buying a car,” explained Pat Ryan, chief executive officer of MAX Systems.

“By creating a common language between dealers and car buyers, our MAX for Selling Elite app literally eliminates the ‘fear factor’ by shifting the way dealers sell and the way buyers buy,” Ryan continued. “The result is a much more friendly and satisfying experience for both parties.”

MAX Systems intends to show off this new iPad app at booth No. 919S during the NADA Convention.

“While consumers conduct an average of 6.5 hours of Internet research prior to visiting a dealership, dealership sales professionals are often not armed with the breadth of information that consumers have on hand,” Ryan surmised.

“With the MAX for Selling Elite app, sales professionals can become ‘instant experts’ in their own right and can share their information with customers throughout the buying process,” he went on to say. “At the same time, dealers can build trust with consumers by ‘speaking their language’ and using evidence instead of spin to sell cars.”
