AutoTrader.com is providing a new service for dealers listing their inventory on the site that is designed to help these stores emphasize the affordability of their vehicles to shoppers, thus hopefully helping them to draw in more customers.

“Promote by Payment” is a new feature on AutoTrader.com that lets dealers showcase deals on the site that meet shoppers’ budgets. The feature is also designed to boost their vehicles’ visibility and include specific payments for vehicles.

The Promote by Payment feature is included on the search results page, vehicle details page and the new-car listings page on AutoTrader.com, officials noted.

New Ad Campaign

Moving along, AutoTrader.com rolled out a new edition of its “We Work For You” advertising campaign at the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention earlier this week in San Francisco.

The multimedia efforts include dealer customers and advertising customers sharing how they have benefited from AutoTrader.com. Brief case studies along with quotes with these clients are featured. AutoTrader representatives are featured in some spots with their respective clients to demonstrate their working relationships.

The efforts began with AutoTraders.com booth display at NADA and moves along with print and online ads. The www.WeWorkForYou.com website has videos of AutoTrader clients and representatives. Moreover, campaign videos, messages and images can be seen via AutoTrader’s social-media outlets.

“We want to do everything we can to make our customers more successful. Featuring real customers in our campaigns enables this message to resonate with our advertisers,” he noted. “The success stories we heard from the customers we’re featuring this year are incredibly compelling, and we’re excited to circulate their stories through the trade media.”
