WomenCertified Auto Gains New President
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -
WomenCertified announced its new president for the WomenCertified Auto division. Appointed to the post is James Lawyer, who has significant experience in the auto industry, including his role as CarSoup.com’s head of new business development and strategic partnering.
As some may be aware, WomenCertified Auto is a consumer advocate for female consumers. It aims to spur on dealers to fulfill (and surpass) customer expectations, especially for the needs of women.
Founded in 2007, there are WomenCertified Auto dealerships in several states, including Florida, California, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas and more.
JM Lexus, DCH Auto, Toyota, CarNation in Canada, AutoNation Direct are among the various companies with which WomenCertified Auto has worked.
“We are proud to have Jim Lawyer as part of the WomenCertified team, leading the customer service revolution in the automotive industry,” stated Delia Passi, who founded WomenCertified and serves as the chief executive officer Medelia Inc.
“We are confident that his progressive thinking and expertise will be a benefit to both dealerships and consumers,” she added.
Looking at Lawyer’s experience in more detail, other roles he has held include positions as president of Megawheels.com and CarCast’s head of business development and product definition.
“The automotive industry has been and continues to be a very male-dominated industry,” Lawyer shared. “This in part is why so many women fear the car-buying process.
“Today, due to programs like WomenCertified, women can go with confidence to dealers who have earned the honorable distinction of being a WomenCertified Dealership and know that they will be treated fairly,” he continued. “I am excited and honored to be a part of WomenCertified and look forward to expanding the WomenCertified Auto services to the benefit of both the female shopper and the automotive industry.”
