DealerTrack, Chrome Leaders to Share Insight at Technology Event This Month
DealerTrack revealed earlier this week that two of its leaders will be among the presenters at the 10th Digital Dealer Conference later this month.
Speaking at the event — which is scheduled for April 19 through April 21 in Orlando, Fla. — will be Ronda Lewis, DealerTrack’s used-vehicle industry specialist, and Robin Goodyer, director of product management at DealerTrack subsidiary Chrome Systems.
Their presentations will focus on teaching dealers about using data and technology in making stocking, acquisition, pricing and vehicle disposal decisions.
These experts will also tackle how e-business tools can aid dealers in lead generation as well as spurring traffic and sales.
The company provided details of the presentations, as follows:
April 19, 2:00 p.m. (EST) to 2:50 p.m. — Cash In with Cutting Edge e-Business Tools. Goodyer noted: “The vehicle buying transaction process is moving online quickly. For dealers, having the latest e-Business tools will be essential to capturing their fair share of online sales now and in the future. From configuration to inventory, payment calculators tied into real bank rates and OEM rebates, to online credit applications, these e-tools can have a tremendous positive impact on a dealer’s long-term business.”
April 20, 4:30 p.m. (EST) to 5:20 p.m. — Four Steps to Used Vehicle Profitability. Lewis noted: “Dealers can improve their used vehicle performance by leveraging multiple data points to define the highest grossing and fastest turning vehicles in their inventories, all while leveraging technology to source and acquire the right inventory in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
“In addition, setting and using realistic pricing and aging policies is an effective first step to attaining bottom-line growth and profitability,” Lewis continued.
