Allied Finance Adjusters Unveils Annual Award Winners
Allied Finance Adjusters handed out a half dozen awards during its annual convention, honoring various categories of repossession achievement.
Presented by president George Badeen, this year’s winners included:
—Paul J. Leleu Achievement Award: Carl Purvis, Federal Auto Recovery of Atlanta. Allied officials explained this award exemplifies a member’s loyalty, harmony and integrity to the organization, its clients and members. The award also recognizes the winner’s ability to promote, educate and harmonize relations between clients and adjusters, as well as promotion of the entire repossession profession.
—Allied Gold Achievement Award: Chuck Cowherd, Auction Auto Recovery of Los Angeles. This award recognizes excellence in improving standards of quality, performance and awareness of Allied Finance Adjusters.
—Rookie of the Year: Harlan Cody, Careful Asset Recovery Service of Lynnwood, Wash., and Scott Fornaro, Coastline Recovery Service of Los Angeles. This award honors individuals who have injected new ideas and energy and taken new responsibilities in promoting Allied Finance Adjusters.
—Behind the Scenes Award: Ben Jones, AFA Home Office, and John Michel, Web Weaver USA. The award recognizes individuals who dedicate their time and efforts to assist in the day-to-day operations that move the association forward.
—Humanitarian Award: Mike and Rachel Reiter, HAR of Resida, Calif. This honor highlights individuals who strive to improve the welfare of the recovery profession through their principles and practices and to come to the effort of those in need.
—Leo L. How Award: Matt Dubach. This award honors an individual who exemplifies the qualities of friendship, brotherhood and goodwill.
