Dealers United Chooses DealerTrack as Preferred DMS Provider
DealerTrack announced earlier this week that the company has been selected as the recommended DMS provider for Dealers United, a national purchasing network for privately owned dealers.
As part of the agreement, officials said Dealers United will market DealerTrack DMS as the recommended DMS solution to its entire network of nearly 5,000 franchised and independent dealers.
DealerTrack DMS, based on a software-as-a-service delivery model, is designed to provide the real-time, on-demand data dealers need to run their business efficiently.
Through its Open Track program, DealerTrack DMS can simply and seamlessly integrate with other existing third-party and OEM systems within a dealership, including sales and F&I and inventory management systems.
"Dealers United's mission is to level the playing field for private dealers each and every day by finding the best products and services for our dealer members," said Jesse Biter, co-founder of Dealers United.
"The DealerTrack DMS is clearly a cut above the rest when it comes to solutions that both franchised and independent dealers need to run their businesses efficiently and profitably," Biter continued.
Sharon Kitzman, vice president and general manger of DealerTrack DMS, said, "DealerTrack is a true dealer partner when it comes to DMS. This endorsement by Dealers United will allow more dealers to cost-effectively experience the advanced technology and robust functionality of DealerTrack DMS."
DealerTrack Delivers Electronic Lien and Title Solutions in South Dakota and Wisconsin
In other company news, DealerTrack said its ELT Direct offering will be used in South Dakota and Wisconsin this year as use of electronic lien and title processing grows across throughout country
Beginning this month, officials said South Dakota will take their lien and title notification processing online. Lenders doing business in the state will be able to receive electronic notices of titles with liens, instead of paper titles, and release liens electronically, using DealerTrack's ELT Direct solution.
In addition, DealerTrack said it has been approved to offer its ELT Direct product in Wisconsin. The state plans to begin rolling-out its ELT program in phases and expects to offer a complete ELT system later this year.
DealerTrack's ELT Direct can eliminate the receipt, management and handling of paper titles throughout the term of a loan or lease. Using this comprehensive software solution, lenders can easily automate what was previously an extremely manual, time- and resource-consuming process. As a result, lenders can reduce internal processing costs and fraud, as well as eliminate "lost titles."
"The use of electronic lien and titling is continuing to grow, as more states realize the benefits," said Kathy Kassinos, vice president and general manager of DealerTrack.
"As an experienced and proven automotive retail partner, DealerTrack can deliver real value to lenders looking to implement electronic solutions for lien and title management," Kassinos continued.
Currently, DealerTrack's ELT Direct solution is offered in the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii (Oahu), Idaho, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
