GE Fleet Debuts Technology Advisory Board
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — To help the company make the most of technology, GE Capital Fleet Services has launched a Technology Client Advisory Board composed of leaders from various GE clients who will share their thoughts on how GE Fleet can improve when it comes to technology and contribute their insight for the development of products down the road.
The Tech CAB members represent organizations across a wide spectrum of fleet sizes, asset types and industries, officials noted.
GE Fleet said it was the first in the fleet industry to roll out a Client Advisory Board 20 years ago. This was designed for the company to get a stronger grasp of what customers needed and how to meet those ends.
CAB has been extended in the last two decades with topic-specific boards, like the Truck Advisory Board.
The latest group — Tech CAB — met for the first time on June 14 at GE Fleet's headquarters. Officials said meetings in the future will take place each quarter.
"The output of the Technology Client Advisory Board will focus on technology solutions that drive increased customer value, user productivity and overall costs savings for our customers," stated Darrin Hebert, chief information officer at GE Fleet.
"The members have firsthand experience in using technology to manage their fleets, so we look forward to their insight and participation," he added.
