THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -

Recent growth has led to a move for Auctions in Motion, which has announced the relocation of its Thursday auction to a larger facility at 889 Mitchell Road in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The move addresses the company’s need for additional space to accommodate growth in demand in the Southern California Region, an AIM spokesperson said, and allows AIM to better serve buyers and sellers and continue its inventory expansion. Also, renovation has begun to secure permanent corporate offices at the Mitchell location.

“Today we strengthen our long relationship with the City of Thousand Oaks,” said AIM president and chief executive officer George Pero. “This move will put our auction and company headquarters in the heart of one of the state’s booming business capitals, and will be the perfect location to handle our growth in inventory. Additionally, the move will create a work environment that inspires our employees and their passion for the auto industry.”

In addition to Thousand Oaks, AIM auctions are located in the Southern California markets of Santa Ana, Pasadena and Ventura.

The Thousand Oaks site will soon join AIM’s other auction locations in offering live simulcast, through a recent partnership with AWG Remarketing. Dealers can buy and sell either by attending an AIM live auction or via simulcast using AIM’s live Internet bidding platform.
