FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -
Hyundai Motor America said Tuesday that Dave Zuchowski has a new role with the automaker. The executive, who has been with the company since 2007, is now serving as executive vice president of sales.
In this position, his duties include heading up Hyundai Motor America’s sales, sales operations, market representation and field operations functions, as well as overall dealer relations.
“Dave has distinguished himself as a leader in our industry in sales, incentives, advertising and dealer development,” noted John Krafcik, president and chief executive officer.
“We’ve seen Dave set a new standard for cooperation and teamwork with other divisions,” Krafcik continued. “He’s truly a team player, with a rare combination of passion, intelligence, creativity and diligence, and we congratulate him on this much-deserved promotion.”
Offering a bit about his background in the auto field, officials noted that Zuchowski’s experience goes back 30 years. The most recent post he had before his arrival at Hyundai was as vice president of sales and field operations for Mazda North America.
Zuchowski’s first position in the auto industry was a sales associate role with Ford. That post started in 1980.
