PITTSBURGH -

Dealer review website Women-Drivers.com announced this week its launch of a mobile platform for the site that enables women to write real-time dealer reviews directly from the showroom or service lane via smartphone.

And according to Women-Driver.com, four in 10 customers are projected to own smartphones by the end of 2012, meaning that dealers can benefit from the mobile site as customers use it to review their experiences during the car browsing, buying or servicing processes.

“Having an in‐store mobile option to get reviews from this powerful buying demographic helps us track our customer service in the form of real‐time reviews,” said Victor Olive, general manager of Day Chevrolet in Murrysville, Pa.

“While customers have good intentions to write a review when they go home, many don’t always get around to it. Now with a little extra time in our store, we welcome the opportunity for them to share their experience.”

The launch of this location‐based mobile technology is accompanied by the “We Care. Scan‐Review‐Share” campaign, the company said.

Via that program, dealers receive personalized table cards with QR codes to provide to sales staff, F&I and service managers and cashiers, as well as to place in the service lounge area. Using a smartphone, women patronizing the dealership can scan the QR code to be directed to that dealership’s review page.

Women-Drivers.com also offers dealers the Certified Women‐Drivers Friendly status, which the company said features dealer benefits including search-engine optimization, Facebook integration of positive reviews and ability to respond to reviewers.
