For most of the year, OneCommand provides phone technology that can help dealers enhance business opportunities. But as the holidays approach, the company again is assisting another well-known client — Santa Claus.

For the fifth year in a row, OneCommand is joining forces with Cincinnati Bell to power the free Santa Calls program. The initiative allows areas residents to schedule a personalized call from Santa.

Here’s how the program works. Individuals can go online with their computer or smartphone and personalize their call by selecting from one of the four provided messages. They can then schedule the date and time for delivery.

The company insisted all calls are delivered by OneCommand using Santa’s voice.

Santa Calls can be delivered to any home or mobile number with a 513, 937, 859 or 812 area code — prefixes that cover Cincinnati, Dayton, northern Kentucky and parts of Indiana. As a bonus, officials indicated that for any phone equipped with caller ID, the call will appear to come directly from the North Pole.

OneCommand pointed out calls must be scheduled by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 23 and no calls will be delivered after 9 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The company went on to highlight that it has delivered more than 350,000 personalized calls from Santa on behalf of Cincinnati Bell since the program’s inception. In addition to spreading holiday cheer, management believes the OneCommand-powered program has helped Cincinnati Bell drive increased website traffic and awareness of their numerous holiday initiatives.

“There is no more rewarding use of our technology than helping Cincinnati Bell bring the magic  of Santa’s voice, complete with North Pole updates, directly to boys and girls in OneCommand’s hometown,” declared OneCommand chief executive officer Al Babbington.
