CHICAGO -

Renovo Services recently announced it has achieved SAS 70 Type II certification.

The company explained this certification requires an in-depth audit of the controls surrounding the development and continuing maintenance of IRIS 2.0, Renovo Service’s proprietary operating platform, as well as the infrastructure and IT procedures needed to support this operation.

“Obtaining SAS 70 certification shows Renovo Services is continuing in our commitment to being the most complete and advanced single-source solution for our customers,” stated Kevin Flynn, chairman and chief executive officer of Renovo Services.

“This certification validates that commitment," he added.

Renovo Services indicated its audit was conducted by RSM McGladrey.

Executives went on to mention SAS 70 was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service providers that wish to demonstrate a high level of control effectiveness to independent auditors.

“It has become one of the most widely recognized auditing standards for service companies,” they concluded.
