vAuto’s Pollak Sets Workshop Schedule for NADA Convention
vAuto founder Dale Pollak plans to answer a pair of common used-vehicle dealer questions at next month’s National Automobile Dealers Association Convention and Expo.
For dealers who wonder “where did the profit go and where is the business headed,” Pollak has three workshops scheduled for NADA’s annual event, which is scheduled for the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The workshops, titled “Keys to Used Car Success,” are set for:
—Friday, Feb. 4, at 3:15 p.m. in room 2005 West.
—Saturday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. in room 2022 West.
—Sunday, Feb. 6, at 2:15 p.m. in room 2005 West.
Pollak intends to illustrate strategy and culture shifts necessary for profitable used-vehicle operations. He also plans to examine how the pursuit of traditional used-vehicle performance objectives is hurting the used department.
To prepare dealers to position themselves for success in both the physical and virtual realms, Pollak said he will present techniques he believes are essential in today’s transparent marketplace to transform dealership sales processes to maximize total gross and drive bottom-line results.
“As you are aware, there is a new way to be successful in the used-car marketplace,” Pollak insisted.
“I believe this is based on a management methodology called Velocity,” he continued. “The success experienced by many of today’s top-performing dealerships is due to the implementation of this strategy.”
