Automotive Resources International revealed some changes in its vehicle remarketing team late last week.
The company named Scott Braidwood as the manager of BuyDirect development and hired Brian Garner to serve as manager of market sales for vehicle remarketing.
Braidwood’s first post with ARI was as a vehicle remarketer. Since then he has moved on to roles with increasing responsibilities. Among those posts were supervisor and assistant manager.
Officials said his remarketing experience is broad, also claiming he was one of the fleet management industry’s first to earn the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance’s Certified Automotive Remarketer designation.
Braidwood now assumes the task of heading up development of BuyDirect for ARI.
Meanwhile, Garner has been in the fleet management and remarketing fields for more than 30 years. In coming aboard ARI, officials said Garner is called to lead the team of remarketers that oversees the company’s market sales through all of its remarketing avenues.
“We are very pleased to announce Scott’s appointment to the new position and welcome Brian to the ARI family,” said Bob Graham, ARI’s director of vehicle remarketing.
“They have a wealth of industry experience that will help us grow and continue to achieve the most value for our clients’ remarketed vehicles,” he added.
