Mixed Martial Arts Sale on Tap Next Week for DAA of Idaho
Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho is hosting its fifth annual Rage in the Cage MMA Sales Event next week, which will feature a night of mixed martial arts action on the eve of the 800-unit sale.
The MMA fight night will begin at 7 p.m. (MDT) on Aug. 21 at the Idaho Center, which is near the auction’s facility in Nampa. It will feature main and co-main events pitting Idaho professionals against out-of-state pros, as well as other professional and amateur fights, the auction said.
The general public will be in the raised seats, while the auction’s guests will have floor tables reserved.
Additionally, the auction is aiming to raise funds for young people with life-threatening illnesses through the event.
DAA of Idaho has teamed up with the Wishing Star Foundation, and they are using the funds raised to grant wishes for children and young adults in the state between the ages of 3 and 21 who have life-threatening illnesses.
The auction will have donation jars at the event to raise funds, and is donating a vehicle to be auctioned prior to the main event. Proceeds will go to the Wishing Star Foundation.
The next day, the auction will host its annual sale, which starts at 9:30 a.m. This year, the auction is anticipating there will be roughly 800 units up for sale and 500 dealer attendees.
