CARY, N.C. -

Following the success of “Dealer Training Day” at our Used Car Week and Auto Remarketing Canada conferences, Cherokee Media Group is launching an online “Dealer Training Series” beginning in May.

The once-a-month series will kick off with a training session from Alan Dickie of Alan Dickie Inc. on May 11, followed by a June 8 session with Laurie Foster of Foster Strategies and a July 13 session with George Nenni of Generations Digital.

Those trainers then go another round with a session from Nenni on Aug. 10, Dickie on Sept. 14 and Foster on Oct. 12.

Registration is free for dealers. For non-dealers, registration is $100.

Topics to be addressed include:

— Increasing profits
— Capturing and retaining customers
— Digital retailing
— Digital wholesaling
— Dealership processes

Essentially this expands the aforementioned in-person “Dealer Training” program, which started with live events, to be a full series running throughout the year.

Cherokee Media Group still plans to include in-person dealer training when we return to live events.

The May issue of Auto Remarketing will also include special sections on Dealer Training, as well.
